Bryant's mission call arrived on a Saturday while he was at youth conference. Normally in our area, calls arrive on Friday, so Bryant waited to go up to youth conference with the hope that he'd be opening his call Friday evening. As luck would have it, instead we got to look at the envelope from Saturday early afternoon until Sunday evening when our family could be with us.
With iphones and ipads on FaceTime with family that live out of town, we were ready to find out where Bryant would be serving the next 2 years of his life.
Bryant started off reading the call pretty fast and then slowed down as he saw where he was assigned (the shock made him slow down).....the Italy Milan Mission!! We cheered and lost ourselves in excitement for a bit and then Bryant finished reading the rest of the call. He will be entering the Provo Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, August 6th and will be teaching the gospel in the Italian language!! We are so excited for Bryant and this great opportunity to serve the Lord in Italy!
I won the prize for the closest guess! I just picked where I would want to go pick him up at the end of the mission.
